About the Solution

Modernizing your work is the first step to growth in this ecosystem. The client is a mid-level charity who helps children and underserved communities with digital literacy skills and technology access, thus helping them with education and economic opportunities. We helped them engineer a high-performance website that will increase their reach and help with volunteers grants and donations. We accessed their needs and planned a framework through which we would work together to create a functioning system.

Background

The client focuses on driving social impact through fundraising campaigns, community programs and volunteer engagements. But their initiatives did not remain stagnant and their existing digital presence could no longer support their needs. Their website was outdated and difficult to manage. It was also not optimized for the mobile users resulting in low engagements and missed opportunities. A modern platform was necessary for growth and transparency.

The redesigned website addressed the client’s challenges by creating a more engaging and efficient digital platform. Our experts understood the needs and requirements of the client and designed a website that supports fundraising growth, strengthens community engagement and provides the data needed to improve continuously.

Outdated Database

Legacy donor database incompatible with modern marketing tools

Strategic Takeaways

The new system helped fill quite the number of pain points the institution was facing. Here are a few strategic takeaways:

  • Website development for non-profits should prioritize EX just as much as UX
  • Automation can free up a lot of time to plan better strategic marketing techniques
  • Investing in a modern stack pays for itself in reduced maintenance.
  • Data quality determines marketing effectiveness

Conclusion

The transformation shows us why companies and agencies should be up-to-date with technological advancements. Having a platform that is easy to navigate and has features that assist the audience, may it be the students, the volunteers or the donors is a key for growth. The solution’s flexibility, combined with industry-specific capabilities, enabled our client to address immediate pain points while building a solid foundation for future innovations.
